How I got here
I’m a .NET and Full Stack Software Engineer in Faisalabad, Pakistan, with four years of professional software engineering experience. I graduated from FAST NUCES with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2022. That August I joined Beacon Impex as a Software Engineer, and I have been in production systems ever since.
My professional work is on production systems: fleet and vehicle software, warehouse operations, customer support and field service, garment production, accounting workflows, access control, reporting, IoT device management, and internal business tools. Some of that is new development. A lot of it is existing software that has to keep working while it is changed.
The public portfolio has projects and live demos. That is a selection I chose to show. The experience is broader than the cards on the homepage.
What my days are actually like
Most of the professional work is C# and .NET: ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework and EF Core, ADO.NET, LINQ, SQL Server, REST APIs, JWT, WCF, and layered service architectures. I write business logic, model data, document APIs, and connect web, desktop, mobile, and outside systems to each other.
I also work in existing codebases. Legacy .NET, including Framework, WinForms, Silverlight, SOAP, and Database First, is part of that work: reading a mature system, fixing defects without breaking production behaviour, and moving pieces toward REST and newer .NET where that is appropriate. TruckDestino is one example: a fleet platform I helped modernize while adding APIs that newer clients could use.
I also build and maintain WinForms tools for Excel-heavy operations, reports, labels, imports, and accounting. WIP Analysis Tool and Denim Labels Utility came out of that. So did a QuickBooks IIF generator that turns sales and inventory data into files QuickBooks Desktop will accept, with validation, SQL Server storage, and duplicate checks.
When software has to talk to the world, I have used REST and SOAP, WhatsApp Business API, Meta Graph, Firebase, SMTP, SSRS, and MQTT. Zephyr is an IoT HVAC platform: telemetry, scheduling, and device commands over MQTT. Tracket is a customer-support and field-service system: APIs, JWT, roles, and reports.
The other work
I also build full-stack products in Angular, React, Blazor, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, Django, MongoDB, and MySQL. Public demos from that work include StayHealthy, GiftLink, Little Lemon, Best Cars, and EventEase.
I have shipped multilingual sites (Italian, English, Spanish, German, French, and Arabic/English with RTL), maps with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap such as GeoHealth Tracker, and a university project, MEZBAN, on Angular and Google Places. I have containerized a Django shop with Docker and GitHub Actions as the Ipswich Retail PoC, and I have deployed and supported work on IIS, Cloudflare Pages, Render, and CI pipelines.
Three businesses have paid me to put them on the web. Savory Dumplings is a Faisalabad restaurant that needed a menu, WhatsApp ordering, and local search instead of only Instagram. Ultimate Educational Solutions is a UK and Pakistan consultancy. Uni Advisers is a UK study-abroad site in React, with enquiry paths into WhatsApp, email, and CRM. Those three are the client work. Everything else on the portfolio is labelled for what it is: employer systems, independent builds, prototypes, university work, capstones.
How I work
My professional work covers new development and existing systems: .NET backends, REST APIs, WinForms, SQL Server, legacy maintenance, Angular or React, Blazor, integrations, reporting, IoT, debugging, and production support. For selected client projects I have also handled the website, integrations, deployment, and SEO as one engagement.
I work from Faisalabad and I work remotely. I’m open to roles, freelance, and contracts in Pakistan and abroad. If you need a label for search, .NET developer, C# developer, ASP.NET Core, full-stack, WinForms, and backend are parts of one background, not separate products.
